This is a cache along the Centennial Trail north of Arlington. You may need to bushwhack the nettles. There are plenty of sticks laying around.
This cache was placed to celebrate the opening of Phase III of the Centennial Trail from Arlington to Bryant. The trail is an ongoing project of the Snohomish County Parks Department. In 1988 the Trail Coalition of Snohomish County, a non-profit organization, was formed to serve as an advocate for converting rails to trails. They continue to lend support to the county’s efforts to fill in gaps south of Arlington, complete Phase III from Bryant to the Skagit County line and connect the Centennial Trail to the Samish River Trail in Woodinville. The group is also lobbying to pave the Whitehorse trail from the spur located a half mile south of the cache all the way to Darrington. For more information see the Snohomish County parks website. It is located at:

If you are planning to drive to the cache, you can forget it. No motor vehicles are allowed on the trail so saddle your horse, strap on your skates, or grab your bicycle. Heck, you can walk to it if you want. Any way you get there you’ll get your exercise. Stealth is required, especially on sunny weekends.
Congratulations to Corvettekent for FTF.
