Zombie tip #53 "Blades don't need reloading"
Guns serve their purpose, but for a safe bet, keep a blade on hand. Knives, swords, and the like will never run out of ammo.

This cache is the first of our new zombie cache series, just in time for Halloween!

This particular cache is placed near the Greenfield Cemetery, right on the edge of town. This is a fairly large cemetery for such a small town. Depending on the time and day, stealth may be required. The nursing home is located nearby and activity outside of that building may be busy at times. (He)monious mentioned that it may be fun to find this one at night, which would help with the stealth and also enhance the atmosphere in more of the true spirit of a zombie cache. hehe. And as we like to mention in all of our cemetery placements, please leave everything as you found it and be careful not to disturb anything. :) Thank You and Happy Caching!!

Oh no! You've been infected by this unique strain of the zombie virus. This virus started was started by team "Harmonious" in their home town of Harmony, MN. The concept is to grow a series of "zombie caches" placed exclusively in or near cemeteries.

The guidelines we have been following in this series are listed below:

1."Night of the Living Dead" ~ Caches are placed in or near cemeteries. Caches placed within cemetery grounds must have official permission of grounds managers. Please use respect and thoughtfulness while exlporing the grounds and finding caches.

2."Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" ~ Caches can be any type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, Letterbox, etc.), although they are primarily traditional caches.

3."Zombieland" ~ The title of the caches start with Zombie Cache and are followed by a survival tip in case of a zombie apocolypse. Tips can be things heard from movies, video games, comics, books, etc... or just something that seems to makes sense while dealing with zombies.

4."Run Zombie Run" with it ~ Along with this list of cache guidelines, you will find an explanation of the tip included in the title within the cache's long description.
Example: Zombie tip #99 "Destroy the stairs" When planning to fend off a zombie hoarde, it is best to destroy the stairs as soon as possible.Zombies are not documented to be good climbers.

5."Dawn of the Dead" ~ There are no boundaries as to how far this cache series can go. No one is safe from this virus! It can be spread throughout all of the United States, and who knows... maybe someday it will reach other countries as well!

6."Diary of the Dead" ~ We would like to mention... this series is all in good fun, in light of the season and popularity of zombies in our current pop culture. We are not suggesting there is a real zombie virus being spread, only our virtual one. And last, but definitely not least, we mean no disrespect to the meaningfulness of cemeteries or the act of burying loved ones. :)

7."28 Days Later" ~ We are having a lot of fun with this series all on our own, but we'd love to see what others can come up with as well! We are so looking forward to seeing how much fun fellow cachers can have with this, and what other tips are out there. If you'd like to share your creations with us, or have any questions, comments, or concerns with any of our "zombie caches" please feel free to contact us at harmoniousgeocachers@gmail.com. We'd love to hear from you.

We hope you've enjoyed our little creation and Thanks so much for hunting!
Take care, Team Harmonious :)
