I have been wanting to do a cache like this for a while. This
cache has been done to honor FizzyMagic in other states as well and
I found it a perfect fit for what I have been wanting to do. The
description below has been slightly modified from the original
Fizzy challenge cache to fit the challenges I would like to bring
to the Riverside area.
Disclaimer: This cache is probably NOT for everyone!
This cache IS at the coordinated posted above. You will notice
that this challenge says 80%. That is correct. There are a total of
5 Challenge caches to complete here for this short series honoring
the original Fizzy cache. When I say 80% completed, this means that
you need to of found 64 of the 81 possible caching Difficulty /
Terrain combinations. Any of them will do, just please make sure
that you have found at least 64 of them BEFORE you log your find.
Also, there are no specific types of caches that you must find. All
I am looking for here is the percentage of your
well-roundedness.
Basic rules (to keep things easy):
- All PREVIOUS cache finds DO count - you do NOT start from "0"
at this point.
- No rating changes of existing caches will be accepted as counting
towards your goal.
- Generally accepted rules, guidelines, and conditions set forth by
Geocaching.com for logging a cache find apply.
- These must be caches listed on Geocaching.com that you have
personally (physically) found and logged.
- No logging finds on caches you own will be allowed.
- If you have others with you when you find the final cache, only
those who have fulfilled ALL criteria for this cache will be
allowed to log it as a find.
- When you complete the challenge and have signed the log, please
make sure that your profile page clearly shows your difficulty /
terrain chart and your progress. There are a number of websites and
programs that you can use to do this (GSAK,
mygeocachingprofile.com, homemade spreadsheet uploaded to your
profile page, etc.).
- Finds without the proper back-up will be deleted
- This cache does not count as one of your finds in the matrix. You
must find 64 different cache combinations before you can log this
one.
- Logging this cache before you technically qualify for it will
result in your log being deleted. I do not need your bookmark or an
email with your caches before-hand.
Please follow these rules to maintain a level playing field for
everyone. Please keep the spirit of The Challenge in mind.
