What Was He Thinking?? Traditional Cache
Hippychick1620: Well, houses are being built, sold and people are moving in. The purpose of my cached has been defeated, as I knew it eventually would. As much as I disagree with these types of developments, I am glad to see that something is being done here after 4 years. Thanks to everyone that drove all the way out to my neck of the woods to find this cache, I appreciate your dedication.

Back the fall of 2008, when the housing market was showing obvious signs of distress, some guy thought he could still make some money by throwing up one of those housing developments where all the houses are 6 inches from each other and all look the same...you know what I'm talking about. So he buys this hillside, tears it up, throws down a road and some plots but then no one bought, not one person. A few months later a "For Sale, 40 lots" sign goes up, now even that's gone, I'm sure the bank owns it all. The deer that once lived there still walk through, looking bewildered, wondering what happened to their once beautiful home, and all of us that live out here have to look at this eyesore as we drive by. Maybe one day it will be developed, maybe one day it will all be torn back up and returned to what it once was, a tree-filled hillside with just one home on it. But for now I'll place a cache here.
Although this could be a quick park & grab, I suggest parking on the "main road" below and making the short walk up.
