Tamagawa Aqueduct (Tamagawa Josui) is a 43 kilometer long canal that was constructed in 1653 to divert water from the Tama River to the booming town of Edo. Just upstream of this location Tamagawa Josui enters a water treatment facility. When it comes out of the treatment plant it is returned to the channel.
This is nice spot to cool your feet. It is the only place where you can actually get close to the water on Tamagawa Josui. Take your shoes and socks off and cool your feet.
The cache is within walking distance of Tamagawa Josui Station but it is better to come by bicycle. You will need a water bottle to retrieve this cache. Be prepared to get very wet at this cache.
There are a lot of carp, wild guppies (an invasive species) and other fish.

玉川上水は、江戸の新興都市に多摩川から水をそらすために1653年に建設された43キロ長い運河です。キャッシュが隠れているところのすぐ上流に玉川浄水は、清掃所に入ります。清掃所から出て河床に返されます。
足を冷却するために素敵な場所です。ここは唯一玉川上水に入る場所です。せっかくですから靴と靴下を脱いで足を冷やす。
キャッシュは玉川上水駅も徒歩圏内です。キャッシュを出すためにペットボットルやすいとが必要です。このキャッシュを出すため全身が濡れることをこころかけたほうがいいです。
気をつけろ！それは赤いニシンは多摩川上水で発見されていることを噂されている。
