Geocache Description:

An easy walk on the paths between the Rideau Trail and Little Cataraqui Creek.

One of the many paths in this area leads directly to (but not past) this cache. The shortest route is likely to start from the bottom of the Rideau Trail then branch off it at N44 13.406 W76 32.261. And, as Yogi Berra is quoted as saying "When you come to a fork in the road, take it".

There are more scenic routes than this, so if you take the direct route in I suggest a very pleasant return trip going south from the cache through the pine forest.

You are looking for a cammo'd small L&L. Bring your own writing stick if you don't like writing with 1 inch pencil stubs.

*** OWNER UPDATE ON September 12, 2011***
When I published this cache 10 months ago, you could follow an established trail right up to the tree that has fallen and blocked it. Since then, the undergrowth, overgrowth and raspberry vines have made it difficult to get closer than 10m. The old cache is probably still in there somewhere, but I've put in a new one at the end of the current geo-trail. I've bumped the DT ratings, but if the geotrail disappears I may need to bump it even higher.
