Geocache Description:

One to look for while waiting for the bus

This cache is situated right on the border of Sandgate and Brighton. Both of these suburbs are named after their namesakes in England and interestingly Sandgate in Kent had a military camp called Shorncliffe Camp, on top of the cliffs adjacent to it. The road that follows the esplanade is called Flinders Parade named after the navigator Captain Matthew Flinders who was the first European to discover the area in order to establish a penal colony for Lord Brisbane, Governor of New South Wales.

You do not need to enter any private property to access the cache.
