Geocache Description:

A nice walk through an almost unknown area known as Allee's Meadow. This part of the walk has some connections with Radford Park. Nice information plaque at the Bramshott end of the walk on the gate will explain all. Good Luck!

Allee's Meadow was given to the River Wey Trust by the Allee family in memory of the Late Arthur Allee. Allee's Meadown is a typical upper Wey watermeadow with sloping grassland, once fed by a system of man-made channels bringing water from the River Wey itself. Please note that due to slight overgrowth and some soft mud (due to the river) it would be advised to bring trousers and wellington boots or some other sturdy shoes. There is enough parking for a few cars, as you park up make sure that you consider others whom live in the houses nearby. To reach the cache park in the layby and go through (or over) the metal rung gate saying hello to the horse but do not feed him. The path does not have a sign, but runs along the left hand side of the field with the horse in it. Follow the path keeping the river on your right all the way to the cache. The cache is a medium sized bright yellow 'Stork' container, it has room for GeoCoins, Travel-bugs and room for swaps. At the moment it contains a mix of items such as a miniture picture frame, a water pistol and a small mirror/comb combo thing. The cache has a log book and pen/pencil and a sharpner. Due to a couple stiles further on passed the cache site, this cache is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Please feel free to take a picture and post it up, would love to see what you found and what you left in the cache. Goodluck NOTE: Whilst the walk from the car park site to the cache is unaffected, if you were to walk past the cache for a further 10-15mins the path and fence crossing point has been blocked a fallen tree and is impassable. I'll keep an eye on this and update the page accordingly
