An opportunity to hike in the Creston Valley Wildlife Management Area.
Take a nice hike on a grassy trail to this cache. Unlike some of the JimC caches in the area :-), the path to this one is mostly level and can be done by casual hikers who don't like to climb (like this cache owner). The cache is 1.48 miles from the start of the trail, and the round trip (if you choose not to backtrack) is about 3.4 miles. The cache was placed on 10/10/10, hence the name.
Park on the side of the road, just south of the parking area for the Balancing Rock Trail (where you can find another few caches). Please obey the signage regarding where NOT to park, and start your hike on the gated two-track trail.
Enjoy ponds, birds, animal viewing, smells and sounds of wildlife. Watch out underfoot for slugs and cow "pies".
