A series of caches have been placed between Kintetsu Hattorigawa Station and Takayasuyama Station for a half day trekking.
This trekking route will give you an opportunity to explore the east part of Yao City where you can enjoy beautiful forests and panoramic views of entire Osaka. The route first climbs up to Jusan Toge Pass then follows the Ikoma ridge to arrive at Takayasuyama Station of Kintetsu Cable Line.
Keep in mind that the route contains steep and unpaved trails. Some parts are muddy after rain. It is strongly recommended to wear proper trekking gears including good trekking shoes with thick soles, a rain wear, and gloves. Also, bring at least one litter of water as there are very few water supply points along the route.
With appropriate preparation, you are ready to go up the mountain. At the end, you would come back safely with more than ten cache founds.
Keep coming down the trail to reach the 13 cache, which is the final cache of this series.
The cache is placed behind the Takayasuyama Station.
Take it easy! Now you are ready to go back home by taking the cable car!
