Tradition cache alongside a public footpath. A short slope leads to the location. Negotiation through nettle patch, but most of these can be avoided and are low.
A small plastic geocache container contains a few items, including a trackable bug with a mission. The container is inside a camouflage bag
The cache is located very close to the public footpatch down Wensley dale, a tranquil setting with some small rock outcrops flanking the dale, home to Jackdaws. As one progresses towards the cache site the vista opens up toward Matlock and the landmark of Riber castle a few miles distant. Sheep and the occasional cattle may be encountered and some of the patch can be muddy following rain. It is possible to continue down Wensley dale to Snitterton and Matlock. The neasest car parking is in Wensley village fro where the walk to the location is approximately 0.5 mile a downhill and gentle walk. The surrounding hillsides offer other pathways and these meander though now long extinct lead mine workings.
