Nagaoka Castle outworks of a castle trace
In the Edo era, there was Nagaoka Castle around this Nagaoka Station. It was Heijo that three ?-maru surrounded to follow ?-maru which kept on, these west, north, south Mikata in two ?-maru, the East in the west of the main enclosure.
The Nagaoka Castle was destroyed by fire by Boshin War, and a railroad was spread on the site of castle to (1989) in 1898, and Nagaoka Station was enacted. Without seeming to be able to rub the example that a station is built on the site of castle in this way nationwide.
