I innseilingen til Leirvik på Stord står skulptuen Storddøra. Et flott skue når du ankommer Leirvik med båt.


In the harbour of Leirvik on Stord the sculpture Storddøra, The Stord Door greets the sailors when they arrive.


If you need diesel or gasoline for your boat, this is where you find it.



"Ytst på moloen i innseglinga til Leirvik står skulpturen Storddøra av kunstnaren Sissel Tolaas, reist med god støtte frå det lokale næringslivet. Skulpturen er ein 16 m høg konstruksjon i rustfritt stål og med 20 innebygde propellar som roterer i vinden og blenkjer i sola. Rundt skulpturen er opparbeid parkområde. Frå sentrum er det ein fin spasertur ut til storddøra."
