Geocache Description:

This is an easy grab just off I-75. The terrain is a paved parking lot.

In rural areas of Kentucky, many people do not have direct access to water from treatment plants. Many people catch water from their roof via their gutter system which flows into an underground cistern. Those who do not catch water from the roof must have water brought in on a truck. These trucks pump water into the homeowners cistern which gets pumped into the home by the homeowners private pumping system.

This cache is located by a pumping station where the trucks load their water. Anyone who wants to fill a water tank can purchase water through the water vending machine that you'll see on-site. The water pumping station is unmanned and is owned by the city of Corinth. Feel free to put in a quarter and watch the water flow.

Usually the only people who are at the site are those who are filling their water tanks. These can be private individuals or people who haul water commercially.

You are looking for a black magnetic key holder. The first to find will get three silly bands and two quarters to create their own mini waterfall. Also included is a logbook to sign. BYOP
