Too Tall John recently found his 2000th cache with a solo, rainy hike up Mt. Chocorua to the Pied Piper cache. This cache honors that milestone.
This cache is placed on the Bayle Mtn. trail about 600 feet below the summit ledges. The cache is a small lock and lock placed in a geo-obvious spot.
Park at the given parking coordinates and hike up past the orange gate on a wide, well groomed snowmobile trail. Turn left at a cairn at the trailhead coordinates onto a red blazed, steep and rough trail up to the cache area.
Once you have found this cache, continue up the trail to the summit for spectacular views in all directions. Once you have enjoyed the views you can search for the nearby Post Bayle cache, GC1X78H.
