Geocache Description:

A micro near the parking and entrance to Kirchner Woods.

Welcome to the newest property conserved by Stowe Land Trust (SLT). The Kirchner Woods was acquired last year when Gerald J. Kirchner, owner of the land left a good part of his estate to the SLT. An anonymous donation was then given for the construction of a trail system and parking area. Over the summer, after several work days and many volunteer hours, a parking area was constructed, and a trail system built.

Park at N 44°27.435 W072°39.430, along Tabor Hill Road. This cache is a gas saver for Sweet Kirchner, about a quarter mile walk uphill along the main trail. The container is a blue bison tube. Please rehide it so that it isn't visible from the trail. If things are wet, the terrain rating may be a little higher than 1.5, as it requires a step across a small wet area.
