Located in the beautiful and gorgeous Orosi Valley is the small quaint town of Cachi in Cartago province. This town sits amid some of the most stunning regions in Costa Rica with lush green coffee plantations that lie near magnificent historic ruins that date back to the days when the Spaniards first colonized the area.
You need to look for "La Casona del Cafetal" restaurant, there is a public access to the lake from their parking lot. You will be rewarded with a spectacular view of the lake and it's beautiful surrounding.
The cache is a camouflage M&M container with a logsheet and some small items for exchange. You need to BYOP to sign the log.
