Geocache Description:

Take in the view while searching for this micro located next to a small pond at the south end of the most beautiful park in Binghamton. This pond is surrounded by gorgeous Weeping Willow trees, but this particular one is our favorite. We call it the lazy Willow cause it looks to be laying down. Have a seat, relax, look towards the pond and you'll forget for a moment where you are while enjoying the tranquility. But don't forget to find the cache!!

Oh and if you're lucky you will see fish jumping for food every now and then! Happy Hunting!

Otsiningo park has lots of events throughout the year, but there are two major events that attract people by the thousands. The first is the Annual Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally, which began in 1983 and is held in the summer at the end of July or beginning of August, but lasts just three days.

The second is our favorite and is becoming very popular with each passing year, beginning in 2001, and its called the Hometown Holiday Light Festival. This event turns the park into a festival of lights and wonder, in which you and your family can drive through. They have amazing light displays seen from quite a distance away, and its available from right after Thanksgiving, to just after Xmas.

* Congrats to Tundra Wolf for the FTF!! *
