This footpath divides the "Lavender Fields" Leonard Cheshire Home on one side and the Blueharts Hockey Club and Hitchin Cricket Club on the other. Both of these sites form regular parts of the cache owner's life in the area.
The path is not really suitable for pushchairs, but this is a favourite dog walking and jogging area, so watch out for muggles (and dog poo!).

The cache is located at a "viewpoint" with a vista across the new hockey pitch (2018) and fields towards Pirton, taking in Oughtonhead Common. On a clear day you can even see the water tower near Meppershall about 5 miles away.
Why not rest a while and take in the Hertfordshire scenery (there's a bench not far away) or tackle the "Land of the Common People" series of caches nearby?

View from the bench further along the trail.
