Geocache Description:

A small magnetic cache at the recently renovated Jaffa Railway Station.

The Jaffa-Jerusalem railway is over 100 years old. It was conceived in the middle of the 19th century, and the first train traveled sections of the route in 1890. Two years later, the entire line was completed, and the Jaffa Railway Station was opened. A brief history of the line can be found here: (visit link) .

Several years ago, the municipality of Tel Aviv started a project to restore the old railway station. The work concluded in 2009, and the station was converted to an entertainment and leisure venue, that attracts many locals and tourists.

The magnetic cache is hidden under the end of the line. Many muggles around, so please be as stealthy as you can.
