This is part of our Tricks n' Treats series, where you never know if you will find a trick or a treat. What you don't know is that this is our third attempt to hide this particular cache...hence the name.
The log does contain a log book, pen/pencil, and maybe some tricks or treats.
This cache is located off a trail and along a riverbed near Telge park. As mentioned above, we originally hid our cache only to learn from the Prime Reviewer that it was within 15 feet of a mystery cache (Raven, we evidently think alike). We went to retrieve this cache and it had been muggled. After creating a new container we set out in the dark with headlamps and determination to get this 5th in the series out with the rest of the group. A quarter of a mile deep into the woods, my son reminded me he would rather be heading for home than deeper into the same forest that we saw a Bobcat the other day. So, I agreed to quickly hide it right then and there. We found a great hiding spot, bent over only for our lights to reveal, another Geocache (a mystery hidden by ManOf Steel73, again, great mingds think alike). So, with a little less thought we had to quickly get this cache to a location that could be posted for our Halloween TNT Series to be complete. Here's to "Third Time's A Charm." If this does not make it, we will probably rename it to Better Late Than Never. :)
Be sure to watch for critters in this part of the park, it is primitive!
