There was no meeting for October, the November weekend is taken
up with another scheduled event. I just cannot go all the way
until December without my Central Oklahoma Geocachers meeting and I
am betting others can’t either. Everyone everywhere is
welcome.
I’ve Bungled together an event to be held at Ryan’s
Buffet, located at 6500 S.W. 3rd in Oklahoma City, OK at
6:30 p.m. That’s
right off of I-40 and MacArthur. If you still cant find it, get a
GPSr! There wont be
any fancy decorations and probably not even a door prize,
just good eats and good friends.
If
you are a new geocacher, don’t be afraid to attend! There is
no fee to join our group and you are welcome at
anytime. We love
getting new people interested in our obsession and help you with
any questions you might have.
Spring Fling Committee will be revealing most of the Top Secret
details they have been working on during the long summer months to
prepare for COG’s 10th Annual Spring
Fling. I have heard
there will be printed information available and most likely a GC
code. They will
also have the new COG tags for sale as a fundraiser.
Will be passing out the preordered, prepaid COG Tshirts at this
event. If you cant
make the event and ordered a tshirt, contact me
otherwise.
