Happy Birthday Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Congratulations to 1101010 and TinyCop for co-FTF

Coordinates are for the first stage of this cache. An ANT compatible GPSr is REQUIRED to do this cache.

This is one of two "beacon" devices I received this year for my birthday, hence the name of the cache. These devices are new, and you might need to update your GPSr software in order to find this cache. If you have any questions about this device, or what is needed, please feel free to contact me!

This is a 2 stage multi. The first stage IS at the posted coordinates, and you SHOULD have satellite reception at GZ, but even if you don't, your GPSr will let you know when you get there. (Make sure you have the settings set so that it is actively searching for a "beacon device". There is no need to touch ANYTHING in order to recieve the final coordinates from this stage. Do not poke, pry, climb, open, etc anything near here. There is nothing to take or see or sign at this stage.

You will have limited access to the first stage - hours currently are: Monday - Saturday 10am - 9pm, Sunday 12n - 6pm. This cache was placed WITH permission.

The second stage is within walking distance, you will receive the coordinates for it when your GPSr "finds" the beacon and transfers the information.

Welcome to the first Chirp cache in NC.
