Medium-sized clear lock n' lock container containing Halloween-themed swag! It's located in a very serene and usually muggle-free area of Seneca Creek State Forest. Please be sure to re-cover this cache and leave it hidden well.
This is our second cache, and my boys (ages 5 and 9) are very excited because Halloween is our favorite holiday! This cache is extremely kid-friendly and an easy hike through a beautiful part of Quince Orchard Valley Park and Seneca Creek State Forest. The cache contains lots of Halloween-themed goodies to trade and we promise to keep it stocked! There are multiple ways to reach this cache. Option 1: The easiest is a 1/4 mile hike from the parking lot at Quince Orchard Valley Park. There is a bridge close to the trailhead. From there, an easy walk, but a warning to those with little ones: we crossed a dry creek that could be a problem if it rains. Option 2: Parking on Riffleford Road at Seneca Creek. There are multiple routes you can take to the cache which is about 3/4 mile from this location. Several of these are kid-friendly. Note that our other very kid-friendly cache, Pirates of the Caribbean, is an easy hike from this cache. You can easily combine the hikes! Arghhh!
