PurpHaze: Due to the overwhelming degree with which a geocache thief has been pillaging caches throughout the Yakima River Canyon areas I have decided that it is not worth the effort to replaced this cache. Thanks to all who have visited and apologies to those whose fun this misinformed person has put a damper on. Cache on!

Geocache Description:

Camo-taped plastic jar; swag/log/stash note BYOP/P.

Cache is located in the Selah Cliffs nature trail area. A nearby interpretive sign will explain this cache's name. All walking along the trails is fairly level and much of it is gravel covered which makes for a stroll instead of a hike. You'll enjoy fauna and flora in the area so bring a camera. Unfortunately the nature area is not pet friendly so they will need to remain behind for this adventure. According to a friendly docent doing some counting of Basalt Daisies along the cliff face the trail will take you all the way to the bridge at I-82. However, don't go any farther than the bridge as that will put you into government military lands. Enjoy the stroll, stretch your legs and add some cache smileys to your adventure.
