Elk Creek Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

KYoutdoorsman: This park is only a shell of its former self. Neglected and rundown. Archiving as there is no value in bringing folks here. I know the only reason I would stop by is because of a cache.

Geocache Description:

A bison tube with room for log only.

There must not be many cachers in Wayne County as available caches are few and far between. This is one of two placed in hopes of inspiring others to follow suit.

Wayne County was created on December 13, 1800, from parts of Pulaski and Cumberland counties. This cache is located at a small, neglected park along the banks of Elk Spring Creek running along the base of Morris Hill just south of Monticello. Elk Spring Creek drains into Beaver Creek a short distance to the west.
