A cache that was (we think appropriately) placed on Halloween 2010. A simple puzzle cache (at least if you have seen this type before) and, therefore, you are on your own. The cache is not at the given coordinates but, instead, the final GZ is within 200 metres. There is plenty of parking close to the initial coordinates. This parking is on Humbie Road just before the Bonnyton Moor Road starts. The cache container contains a log book and a few small swaps. Have fun......

...the Devil's Plantation
We have always wondered about this place, and thought about placing a cache here, but it's only ever when you start digging that you realise what an interesting spot it is. Named either Bonnyton Mound or The Devil's Plantation, "The Mound" is on Glasgow's Network of Aligned Sites. Harry Bell wrote a book 'Glasgow's Secret Geometry: The City's Oldest Mystery' which explores the theory that the city aligns to a now-invisible network of ancient sites. His journey started here at the Devil's Plantation. More Recently May Miles Thomas made a film "The Devil's Plantation" which won a BAFTA for the Best Interactive Project. This "film" can be found here and contains some wonderful cinematography of the local area. Another of our other caches, Maxwell House is also on one of Harry's lines.
Anyway, what about the cache? Well, the coords point to a 5 rail fence (and not the real GZ).
