The cache is contained in a clip and lock airtight container, and a camouflage bag as this is a damp area!. The cache contains a log book and pencil together with several small swaps. It is placed at the base of a large tree within the boundaries of the Hillditch Pool and Coppice area with the full knowledge and permission of the Worcestershire County Council Countryside Service. If you search for this cache after Hillditch 1, please make sure that you find the set of steps that will help you get onto the correct side of the wetlands, on a higher path. These are good wooden steps and will save you wading through mud and water! Although there are obvious paths through the Coppice, these may be muddy and suitable footwear is advised. The narrowness of some sections probably means it is not suitable for buggies and because of the stream passing through the lower levels, children should be supervised. The cache is located near but not immediately adjacent to a path. The reserve is populated by many wildlife species- squirrels, bats and birds including kingfishers. The cache contains a log book, pencil, and small swaps. Please enjoy and replace carefully. (Don't forget to log TBs in or out!) The cache can be included in a marked circular route around Hillditch Pool, the Coppice and paths around Titton Lane which is mostly off-road. (There are unfenced areas of water near the old mill opposite Hartlebuy Castle Pool, and a short stretch of road with no pavement so care should be taken). The Coppice Paths can also be extended to include walks on Hartlebury Common. There is designated parking at the Poolands Farm section of the Common or for longer walks parking is available on the Worcester Road stretch of the Common or near Wilden Top.
