In Memory of Jodi LeAnn Sanderholm
Sept. 26, 1987 ~ January 5, 2007
Although I didn't know Jodi....her life story touched my heart. She was a beautiful, young woman who left special memories on earth.
After I heard about this memorial and seeing there wasn't a cache there...I wanted to share it with others.
Jodi was born and raised in Arkansas City, Kansas, a town north of GZ, of about 12,000 people. She disappeared on January 5, 2007, and her murderer was arrested the next day on another charge. He also lived in Arkansas City. Unfortunately, her body wasn't discovered until January 9, 2007. Justin Thurber was found guilty of kidnapping, rape and murder in January, 2009 and was given a death sentence.
