Couple's Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bottoms Up: Hello everyone! My deepest apologies for putting this off for so long. We moved away from the Blacksburg area over a year ago. We have been hoping to get back and restore the cache, but alas, life as gotten in the way. We haven't even been able to do any finding in quite some time. There is no foreseeable way for us to keep up with this cache, and therefore, we agree that it is time to archive it. Thanks to all for taking the time to hunt for it and apologies to some of you who went hunting only to find muggled stages. As for the travel bugs, if they even are still at the last stage, I will give this direction: go to Pembroke and ask the locals where the lookout at the bend in the river is. Search that area to see if the final box is still there. Perhaps we will come back on the geocaching scene later here in Williamsburg and create another fun adventure.

Geocache Description:

With its first stage by the magnificent duck pond on the campus of Virginia Tech, this cache is makes a great date.

This cache is meant primarily for couples. However, anyone is of course welcome to find it. It is not a very difficult one. At each stage of the cache, there is something that I've suggested each couple pause and do. These little ideas could be fun. You are looking for a rubbermaid container slightly larger than sandwich size with a red lid at each stage. There is a log book at each stage which contains the coordinates for the next stage. Also, if it is not too much to ask, try bringing a small picture of the both of you to paste in the final log book (no larger than 2 inches wide). I left a glue stick for this purpose. I have also left insurmountable swag for the FTF. Good luck!

The last stage is the reason for the 4 terrain rating. I don't suggest going alone. Bring your sweetie!

WARNING! Poisonous snakes have been spotted very near the last stage of the cache. Please use extreme caution!

Also, the last stage requires a short bouldering climb. You should be in fairly good condition to do so. However, I do not think the cache deserves more that a 4 difficulty rating because of it's ease, relative to other more strenuous caches.

Also also, please feel free to take all of the trackables that you wish, providing that you move them along. I am not able to go back to the cache very often and have had requests that the trackables get moved.
