IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Seemingly a misnomer to find a swamp in the midst of desert. But a step into the grass will often be met by wet shoes. The location is on a few feet inside private land and placed with the owners permission. No need to cross a fence just the threshold. Be respectful of Hobbs oldest citizens and founding fathers. You will recognize many of the street names of the municipality.

This is a log only cache with a couple of small keepers for the FTF including a GeoFish Trackable. If you take the trackable please make sure you log it on www.geofish.net and send it on its way to the sea.and bring your own pencil

Easy access, just off the public road and plenty of parking. Very flat and easy terrain. Can be a little squishy at times it being the Everglades and all. Note the Elephant. As always in New Mexico look for things that stick, poke and bite.

Be respectful of others visitors and the residents and walk in obvious paths.

No Dogs, No Bikes or Motor Vehicles.

Good place to Cache in,,,,and Trash Out.
