This is a series of 9 caches placed on a walk just over 2.5 miles around the area of Woolley taking you through Windhill wood, Woolley village and Wheatley wood. Woolley village is situated on the outskirts of Wakefield and was once the home of the Yorkshire cricket legend Geoffrey Boycott up to a few years ago.
The series will take you on a trail of footpaths and roads so if you have children with you please take extra care on the road sections Woolley Edge Lane can be very busy at times. Some of the fields have been ploughed recently so the footpaths are not very visible but try to keep to the footpaths where possible so not to upset the farmer.
This is the third in the series of nine. After crossing the road from the second caches and enter the field via the footpath if you look across the field for the church tower and head to the right of it to keep to the footpath this field has just been sowed so no footpath is not visible.
Please look at photo that shows you the footpath
