Sanjay Gandhi National Park, entrance from Borivali East. On the road to Kanheri Caves. Terrain: 5 minutes walk from car park in the jungle clearing. Locate the big tree and you are minutes away from the cache. Rocky area with some grass that can be stepped over. A slight climb uphill of about a minute and you are standing next to the cache. In short, a very easy level of difficulty to find this cache.
Enter Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) from Borivali East, on Western Express Highway in Mumbai. (Maharashtra, India).
From SGNP gate, you may reach cache on foot (Take the road to Kanheri Caves. There is a huge clearing in the jungle where cars can be parked and cache can be reached. This clearing is way below Kanheri Caves and the view of Kanheri Caves can be seen from this clearing.
You should see a big tree (had a machan - a tree-top platform & now doesn't exist) and from under this tree on the side opposite to Kanheri caves, the cache is hidden.
The cache is hidden ON a rock and is then covered by other small rocks.
Cache: Transparent plastic container, the size about a sandwich box properly double wrapped in white plastic bags with the Geocaching welcome note printout. The container has geocaching sticker on its top.
The contents of cache are as follows:
• Printout of Welcome note to Geocaching.
• 1 pencil, 1 logbook.
• 1 Angry Birds keychain.
• 1 sneakers' keychain.
• 1 laughing Buddha keychain.
• 1 50 ps. Indian coin.
• 1 Ben-10 batch.
• 1 crazy ball.
• 1 railway ticket (not normally issued nowadays).
