The place.
In the North and in the South of Keramoti are the springs of the two important rivers of Naxos, the one up Koronos mountain and the other up Fanari Mountain. This two rivers unites at the western part of the village, in "dipotama"point, therefore continues to flow as a single river to the west and shapes up the unique waterfall in Naxos of 6 metres, flows to the village Eggares irrigating the area and debouch to the sea. The running waters, that some years maintain their flow even in summertime, offers to the village an all green breath-taking beauty, that abstains a lot from the usual Cycladic landscape.

The Cache.
To find the cache you have to traverse the small traditional village of Keramoti and at the point N37° 06.569, E025° 30.819 you will find the cement steps going down to the gorge where at the end of them you will find a small bridge, where you go across the stream and you will take the path that you will guide to the waterfalls. The entire route of the trail is lovely with wonderful views of the canyon to the village and the beach of Engares. Enjoy it.

Βόρεια και Νότια της Κεραμωτής βρίσκονται οι πηγές των δύο σπουδαιότερων ποταμών της Νάξου, η μία από το όρος Κόρονος και η άλλη από το όρος Φανάρι. Αυτά τα δύο ποτάμια ενώνονται στα δυτικά του χωριού στην θέση "διπόταμα". Από εκεί ενωμένο πλέον ποτάμι συνεχίζει την πορεία του προς τα δυτικά και σχηματίζει τον μοναδικό καταράκτη ύψους 6 μέτρων στην Νάξο. Από εκεί κυλάει προς το χωριό Εγγαρές αρδεύοντας την περιοχή και καταλήγει στην θάλασσα στην παραλία του Αμίτη και στον ταμιευτήρα νερού των Εγγαρών.

The Cache.
Για να βρείτε την κρύπτη πρέπει να διασχίσετε το μικρό παραδοσιακό χωριό της Κεραμωτής και στο σημείο N37° 06.569 E 025° 30.819 θα βρείτε τα τσιμεντένια σκαλοπάτια που κατεβαίνουν προς το φαράγγι. Στο τέλος του κατηφορικού αυτού μονοπατιού θα βρείτε ένα γεφύρι και θα περάσετε στην απέναντι πλευρά του ρέματος από όπου θα ακολουθείσετε το καλοσχηματισμένο μονοπάτι που θα σας οδηγήσει στον καταράκτη. Όλη η διαδρομή κατά μήκος του μονοπατιού είναι υπέροχη με ωραία θέα στο φαράγγι, στην Κεραμωτή μέχρι την παραλία των Εγγαρών. Χαρείτε την.
