Frankton Frolics form a circular walk of just over 5 miles in and around the hamlet of Welsh Frankton which sits midway between Whittington village and the market town of Ellesmere, astride a ridge known as The Brow, and has stunning views across the Shropshire Plain.
The walk is on the towpath of the Llangollen Canal and public footpaths across fields, although there are also some short sections on country lanes and it is necessary to cross the busy main road in the centre of the hamlet.
Down the lane on the right.
Please replace as found, if it goes higher I won't be able to maintain it!
*******Congratulations to Shropshire Seekers and Big Farmer Giles on being First To Find!*******
