Geocache Description:

March 6, 2011 replaced cache. Hopefully, 3rd time is the charm for the cache not to disappear. Thought the cache might need a new location to keep it from disappearing, so moved a few feet away. Coordinates have been updated; again hard to have consistent coordinates, so updated with the ones read several times.

The cache has been moved from original location as not to be too close to another cache. Easy PNG or on the weekend it is. Best to locate when walking around downtown.

Before branch banking, new regulations, and ATM's in Texas, there was a bank at this location named Capital National Bank. My first job in banking was at this location. I was able to work in several departments to learn the many facets of banking. My favorite was the International Banking area (finally able to use my degree). My job title was Foreign Exchange Trader and I sold gold when the Government lifted regulations in 1974. One of the memorable times as a Foreign Exchange Trader was when the Mexican Government allowed the Peso to devalue over a weekend in September 1976 and caught many people by surprise since it had been stable for over 22 years. CNB merged with Bank of the Southwest several years after the new bank regulations of the mid-late 1970's took place. The relocation of the cache now looks to the side entrance of the 1300 Main building on Travis and around the corner from the satellite location of where I worked in the International Banking office.

Congratulations to OneStepCloser for FTF!!!
As noted by FTF coordinates are hard to be dependable in downtown. If locate with different coordinates, please post in your log and I will check and update. Thanks.
