Geocache Description:

Great minds think alike! This one isn't too far off the path. Should be ripe for the picking. A cylinder shaped container about the size of a Thermos bottle.

I can honestly say this hide is a result of circumstances I've never run into before. I'm slogging along the trail with DJHobby and Sam (the wonder dog) looking for some cool spots to hide some caches. Just like in caching, those multi-million dollar satellites come in handy, and Google Earth had me looking for a particular geographic feature. When we found it I set about stashing my ammo can. About the time I'd found my spot, DJ hollered "don't bother, there's one already her!" What? Turned out Jmebd had one published this morning, and I'd run my pocket query last night! No worry. Another good spot we'd scouted was right up the way. A bit of a hike later I was again contorting myself to hide the can. Just as the can was about where I wanted it we hear the distinctive "clunk" you hear when ammo cans collide. I said something that sounds a little like "ship", and then we laughed our butts off.
Anyway, this cache is on up the trail from that spot, which I'm sure you'll enjoy.
