Geocache Description:

Wanted to have some fun with this cache and just could not come up for a name until I found the container that I have picked up while doing some CITO at a cache site and figured I might be able to put it to use later. Sure enough I am now using this container.

Peppermint Patty was a Charles Shultz character in the Peanuts cartoon strip that still runs in many papers today, some thought she was named after the York Peppermint Patty candy that was introduced in 1940 by the York Cone Co, now a aquired by Hershey Chocolates. But back then the York Peppermint Patty's were only in the northest and never released nationaly until 1975.
Peppermint Patty was first shown to the world in 22 August 1966 and considered a tomboy so that is sort of why I chose this name for this cache.

Cache is a waterproof matchstick holder that has a been modified slightly. So please be careful at the final and ONLY unscrew the lid and do not remove it from the holder so others can enjoy the find as well.

I am not sure how long the pencil will remain in the cache as TM helped me place the cache and it slipped out a few times so if gets lost it is only a pencil and a good cacher always seems to have something to sign the cache page with. BYOP just incase.

TM was kind enough to help me place this cache so he gets credit for finding it already and he has signed it as the FTL not the FTF so hope you enjoy the hunt for the FTF!

Who likes night caches? I know Malcore seems to have a nack for finding them in the daylight but this one will be more fun at night. You should be able to navigate this course easily by following the trail of mixed reflectors as they are not all the same size but when you find a Piece of wood tied to the tree with a red and blue reflector as well as 4 reflector tacks on a tree. The final will be within about 15-20 ft.

If it is snowy I would recommend snowshoes to get here. There is at least one uphill that may prove to be fun in the snowshoes so be careful.

Let me know if you have problems with reflectors as I am trying a new style (in use mostly later on the trail).

Congrats to Kmags for the FTF and AK907f for close 2nd and AK4Me on the 3rd to find. Was glad I could sneak up and find you still searching! Was glad to see the new style relectors are working. Thanks for the feedback
