Geocache Description:

Stockholm between the bridges [ENG]
Stockholm's location between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea has always made it necessary with bridges and boats. The oldest known bridge is the Norrbro, then known as Stockholm north bridge, it is documented in 1288.

On the painting Vädersolstavlan from 1535, which hangs in Storkyrkan, there are three bridges. The above Norrbro and a bridge to Södermalm and one to Riddarholmen. Old Town, named Staden mellan Broarna until 1980, has 19 bridges. The bridges in this cache is not limited to Old Town.

Today's Norrbro is Stockholm's oldest bridge, built in 1807 designed by Erik Palmstedt. Between 2007 and 2010 the bridge underwent a major renovation and was reopened by HRH Crown Princess Victoria on 23 January 2010.

The coordinates points to Norrbro, the oldest bridge in Stockholm. The cache is a nano.
