Geocache Description:

One of two Events to celebrate the end of another year of Geocaching

There are lots of Events taking place throughout the Christmas period, mainly involving festive cheer and frivolities as well as the occasional visit from the Big Man in a red suit himself.

These two Event caches are in a similar vein.

Why two I hear you ask

Well, people usually attend from far and wide, it's Christmas and time is short for everyone so if it's too far to travel to one and meet Cachers old and not so old, then maybe you can attend the other (or both

)

12 Noon meet at the above co-ords - Feel free to wear a Christmas Novelty Hat, there will be a prize for the most original one

Quite a number of caches in the area and if you haven't found them yet, then this is the ideal opportunity to do so. The Event is expected to last approx two hours so wrap up warm as we shall be outside

The area is mainly flat so an ideal Event to bring your buggies (plus Geokids), bikes and wear your bobble hat as it's bound to be a bit nippy

I understand that work has now begun on the dam so cycling across the dam will not be possible (or walking for that matter

)

There are two cafes in the Country Park itself or bring a flask and some mince pies for an impromptu festive snack

Public Transport users:
There are a variety of transport providers (Diamond, Arriva and WM Travel) having a service along Watling Street, where it's just a short walk to Chasewater Country Park
