A little detour off the 330 on the way down from Running Springs
This cache can be accessed from the nearby turnout. You will need to access it as you are heading down the mountain. There is part of the old road that intersects the highway here. Be careful as you walk along. There is some loose gravel and rocks in the road. Be careful of the wild critters in the area. Please trade better than you take. Have fun and enjoy the great view of the valley below.

We checked on the cache after the road repair and found that it is a little harder (not much) to climb out of the parking area to get to the start of the old road.
