Phangnga Town is a nice and quiet place in the south of Thailand, often only visited by foreigners to go to James Bond Island. In town there are nice points that are worth a visit.
This is a set of 4 caches in town.
Each cache will bring you to another unique point that is almost unvisited. Each site has its own cache.
North: ‘City Pillar’
West: ‘Lang Bart ancient pagoda ‘
South: ‘Elephant Mountain’
East: 'Rock art’
This is EAST
The limestone mountains are special for Phangnga province. This cave is at the boarder of the town. There is a small park and you can walk inside. Inside are wall paintings. It is said that they are over hundred years old.
The cache can be found inside. Just walk in and find the Buddha that is carved in the rock. Because of all the rock formations, the coordinates are from just outside. With the 'spoiler-photo' it should be no problem!
Phannga is a small town, from here you can see the pagoda at the east side, just 1 km away.
The place is easy to reach and the cache is easy to grab.
BRING SOME FLASHLIGHT/TORCH FOR EXTRA 'FUN' INSIDE THE CAVE. (not needed for the cache)
