The term "Hootie" has been associated with finding a cache for a long time, but I never got used to saying it- I always thought of band Hootie and the Blowfish. You are looking for a camo'ed water bottle.
While out doing maintenance on one of my older caches I noticed what a hidden gem this little preserve was. It has many intertwining unpaved paths which makes for a really nice walk. I hid a series of these caches- each one is very close to a path, so no serious bushwacking will be necessary- unless of course, you choose direction like I do and take the “straight-to-it” route. I’ve marked three of the major TrailHeads, but there are several around the perimeter. Marked TrailHeads will have parking coords close by. Enjoy!
