Niijima Island is the birthplace of moyai stone statues.
In the vicinity of Niijima, "Moyai" means "to join forces" from old time.
A lot of people's done "moyai", for making many stone statues.
Here and there, the moyai stone statues exists also in this Island.

島おこしで沢山の人が「もやい」して作成し広めたのがモヤイ像です。
この新島がモヤイ像の故郷です。
キャッシュは、新島港に一番近いモヤイ像の辺りに隠してあります。
