Geocache Description:

Short walk (<5 mins) to cache from nearest carpark outside of Woodhouse Eaves in the National Forest.

Choice of several places to park: the Beacon Hill Park has a car park at either end of the park, on Breakback Road and Beacon Road (pay on entry). Also a very small car park (pay and display) near the picnic area off Beacon Road.

For for a longer walk, park on Maplewell Road in the village and take path through Broombriggs. Several other caches en route if you park on Maplewell Road, or if you choose to do a circular walk.

Terrain is over paddock/woods and can be a bit slippery underfoot. Some paths have had gravel laid out. Shortest route to this cache from picnic area car park - ca 1/2 mile round trip. Taking in other nearby caches could extend this to a couple of miles.

This section not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.

Cache is at the foot of the elder members' final repose, may they rest in peace.
