Geocache Description:

Another lovely circular walk of 13 caches in the area of Swanton
Abbott, in North Norfolk. We have specifically done this route to
start in December 2010

Well hidden nano.

We walked this route to pick out the hiding places on a gorgeous
sunny morning. We had had a hard frost the night before, and it was
very easy to get into the Christmas spirit (even though it was only
mid November). We hope that you enjoy the walk as much as we did.
The Goat Inn at Skeyton is roughly the halfway point. Part of the
walk is through fields, one of which is currently inhabited by
horses. They are fine and will ignore you if you leave them alone.
At the end of the public footpath is a stile which has very little
clearance underneath for dogs. (Our collies got through but larger
German Shepherds or Labs might have a problem.) Parts of this walk
could become muddy so once again boots are the order of the day,
especially in the autumn/winter time. The roads are typical of this
area, and can be busy at school times and so on. Also, some people
do drive faster than is sensible so it is wise to keep dogs on
leads. Please do not leave any swaps except TBs, geo coins and
marbles. As usual, there are no pens so please bring your own. Have
fun with this set of caches, and have a lovely Christmas (which may
seem weird if you are doing the caches in August!!!)
