Geocache Description:

Adventure Walk #5

NOT YOUR AVERAGE walk in a park. Please do not do as a night cache; it would not be fair to landowner at out parking area. There is no real climbing rocks but lots of steep hills and creak crossings so plan on getting dirty and wet. There is significant signal bounce closer in to some of the caches so please use the pictures as hints.

Adventure Walk #5

This is intended to be exactly what the name implies, an Adventure Walk. We hid 5 caches along the route with the specific intent to bring you to some of the cooler rock outcroppings along the way. They are Adventure Walk #1 through #5 and we set them up so you can do them all on one outing. Although the terrain isn’t too terribly bad there is lots of ground to cover so be prepared to do some serious walking. You can expect to walk about 2.25 miles with 915 feet change in overall elevation. It took us around 3 hours to set this up. I think if you are in reasonable shape and have decent traction as far as your boots go you will be fine. There is cell phone coverage the entire way. You can expect to cross the creek between 15 and 20 times from Adventure Walk #1 through #5. Crossing ice is a very, very BAD idea. However if you are going to be dumb, you better be tough.
Although the entire route is on public land you may be tempted to take shortcuts. Be aware that doing so will take you onto private property. Please be respectful of the land owners and park in the suggested locations.
This is our first hide and we would appreciate any constructive feedback. Be careful with your water crossings if the water is high or iced over, save this one for a better day. Be safe and enjoy the Adventure.

Landowner gave permission to exit through his property however he DOES NOT want people parking in his parking spots across from his house. If this becomes a problem I will have no choice but to pull this line of really cool caches. Please do not ruin this for the next guy. Thank you in advance for you cooperation.
