I really enjoyed finding the last cache that was here and thought there should be another one so I placed one I borrowed part of IRBH orignal cache page to tell of the history of the area

Stinnet's Station was a stage coach station located along the Little Rock - Ft Smith military road in the 1850's. It was operated by Moses and Patsy Stinnet. The marker is located approximately 300 feet from where the road was. It took about 3 years to complete the road which was partially built by the military and the rest contracted out to settlers in the areas. It was built in 29 five-mile sections at an aproximate cost of $7000. The road was built 16 feet wide and made as smooth as possible to allow for comfortable travel by wagon. Completed in the spring of 1828, the road served many purposes in it's early years for both military and trading expeditions toward the west.I ask if you decided to hunt this in the dark please be mindful on the house near by .It is up the hill from the cache and the creek
