The cache is hidden along a footpath which runs from Llanelen farm to the north gower road (b4295) there are nice views from the hillside of the saltmarsh
Once upon a time a long time ago 17th C I was just a baby dragon there was a little village called Llanelen on the north Gower coast overlooking the saltmarsh it is no longer there today all that remains are a few overgrown areas of bramble and some stones. The villagers gave shelter to several sailors who had been shipwrecked in a violent storm and after a short time the whole village was consumed by the plague that they brought with them ,to prevent the spread of the disease the church elders sealed off the village and everyone died the village was left to ruin.
Sad aye
There is also a story about a local farmer who took a stone from the cursed village and every night the stone would move about the farmyard keeping him awake untill he returned it. This may give be why the 2 lost stones at the entrance to Llanrhidian church are said to be cursed and not suprisingly there is also a lady in white who wanders around above the caravan park weeping ,I had a look for her but DNF, you should be ok there is a nice view here ,the north gower coastline is often overlooked mainly because of the south's beaches , there are some nice walks along here though and you might came across a ghostie, wear gloves if you are searching around we do not want anyone catching anything nasty.
There is a bunny cachekin tag for the FTF
