A photo-offset &
projection multi-cache in beautiful Roger Williams Park.
There is more to Roger Williams Park than just the zoo. There
are walking paths, ponds and lakes, the Temple of Music, Japanese
Garden, and paddle boat rentals. There is also a Casino which can
be rented for events, a band stand at water's edge, a green house
and a natural history museum. There are also many statues
throughout the park. This is a fun and interesting green space to
explore in Providence.
To make sure you see more than a parking lot and the short trip
to the cache, I have set up this 3 stage, photo offset and waypoint
projection multicache.
First, you must figure out where the photo in the listing was
taken. It is in the general vicinity of the listed coordinates. The
location is Stage 1. There is parking available here.
From Stage 1, head due North (True) until you come to an object
that is hinted at by the cache title. It's not that far, and you'll
know it when you see it. That is Stage 2.
From the very front of the object at Stage 2, project a waypoint
1097' at Bearing 177.2° (True) for the Final Location.
The final is between two different trails, and has a view of one
of the ponds. The hint should help narrow things down in case
projections are off a bit. Please be sure to re-hide well.
